I started my career as a web developer in 2007, at this time the wave of the Open source was starting in Egypt. I was the only resource in the company by this time working in PHP and Open source development. I started as a full-stack developer so I have a good experience in CSS3/HTML5/Javascrip/jQuery and PHP/APIs/Caching.

Within 5 years of work I managed to establish a robust PHP Department with 6 resources, doing more than 80 successful small to medium sites in USA, German, Austria, and Egypt using Drupal, Wordpress and other CMSs.

I used to use GIT/SVN and a lot of third parties for newsletter, mailing and payment gateways (Cybersource, Paypal, Mandrill/Mailchimp... )

I also used Linode for more than 5 years, and AWS for more than 3 years. I have a good experience in DevOps, I also used CMMI methodology for more than 3 years and Agile for more
than 4 years.

I am using Jenkins and pipelines for continuous deployment and JIRA for stories/bugs tracking.

I also worked as a project lead for more than 2 years in one of the biggest Mobile Recharge and International calls providers in the world with CyberSource payment gateway and during these days I had a good experience in Transaction Types and responses.

My area of experience covers not only technical aspects but also a lot of leadership activities. I managed to build teams from scratch through interviewing, recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring, supporting, motivation, experience exchange and other activities.
